Mattsgården, Thursday - Sunday (year 18-21)

Things are not exactly ideal at Mattsgården when round no 5 is starting. The place looks a mess, Dan is unemployed, the kids’ grades have hit rock bottom and the family cash amounts to a whopping 10 simoleons.

On the upside we notice that the outer walls (that actually exists) are painted, and there are even windows in some rooms!

Dan decides to leave his political dreams for now, and takes a job in the military to help carry his weight in the household.

Thea’s hair has been growing loosely for a while, and Lena decides it’s time to give her a new hair-do. She looks really pretty with the curls around her ears. Today she brought with her Georg Lind from school. They are having a serious discussion, in a way that only 8-year-olds can.

In the evening Lena is helping Thea with her homework, hoefully she won’t have the same problems in school as her brothers and sisters.

Oh no, Lena starts to feel the characteristic symptoms of a flu infection, damn Kim, spreading the virus again. Off with the guests and go to bed!

Daniel couldn’t care less about his homework. He will grow up to an adult before the weekend is over. Therefore he takes a dance with his baby sister instead.

When casually reading the newspaper, Dan comes across an ad wanting political campaign workers. He cannot resist and applies for the job, and he gets it too! Now he’s back on track for his LTW.

The teenage life is not easy for the Mattsson’s. Stella is nearly in red aspirationwise, as is Daniel, her brother sharing her romance aspiration. Loke, the family guy is worst off, they all long for the same thing – their first kiss! We really need to do something about it, maybe a trip to the gym or the mall would be something? If they’re not getting sick before.

Everybody got sick, except Loke. And he succeeded in getting his first kiss by Sofie, the ever available Sofie.

Daniel grows up well and moves out. He will start his own life at the end of round 6. Good luck Daniel!

There we leave off, with a house in usual uproar, without money but with health problems. This family is really not easy to handle

I hate the flu so much. During the great Flu Pandemic in 30, I had sims literally get sick without getting up from where they got cured. X is healthy again - X got the flu! And with Freetime, guests invite themselves, bringing the flu with them. If you send someone to tell them goodbye, that person will get the flu.

I'm usually trying to send the one that's already sick to say goodbye. It's also good to send sims to work even when they're sick, often they get well during the work hours and I have seen no negative side effects.
