Korskrogen year 33-35, Friday to Sunday

It seems Sofie Johansson, Daniel’s wife, is pregnant. But with flu season in the house, and the generally bad atmosphere at Korskrogen, there’s a big risk for miscarriage, I’m afraid.

Daniel is reducing the risk elements in the house, by moving his parents' graves to Mattsmyra Sockenkyrka, where the newly opened graveyard has a lot of room.

“Goodbye, my love, see you at our next stop”

That decision was apparently very bad for Max, Daniel's nephew, Livia’s son.

Livia was his age when her parents died, so it’s remarkable that he has such a strong reaction to the moving.
We didn’t see that coming, for sure!

Daniel gets promoted to General Practioner. He apparently forgot to take off the thinking cap when he went to work. He is also apparently still sick. Straight to bed is the doctor’s orders.

Sofie wakes up suddenly, feeling nauseous, and with cramps in her belly. It was close, but no miscarriage this time.

Later the same day the cramps continue

And this time, she really looses the baby.

Livia reads the newspaper. “Look at this! Here’s an advertisement from IKEA, they will open a furniture store in Mattsmyra!
That will really be something, both a big employer in the region, and a great shopping place, it will probably attract people from half SimSweden!”

Until the expected store is opened, Livia is entertaining Robin Logren in the Jacuzzi.

And her neglected son is hoping that someone will come and change his diapers and feed him sometime today.

Sofie recovered from her miscarriage, and all she wants now is romantic interactions with her husband Daniel. Thankfully he's well again.

While all that he wants is earning skills. There are very many skills needed for promotions in the medical career.

Max grows up well to be a child, despite his bad experience with the movement of his grandparents' graves.

And he celebrates his birthday by talking to his father Ricky for the first time in his life, while his aunt and uncle are enjoying themselves in the hottub.

"I wish for  a genie lamp for my birthday... Dad..."

Korskrogen after round 9:
Daniel Johansson
Sofie Johansson
Livia Johansson
Max Johansson

What a sad update! Or maybe I just tend to dwell on the sad parts, LOL, wonder what that says about my personality? ;) But I'd never seen the ghosts wave to each other, too cute. And the whole miscarriage thing always gets me. They look so sad!

I was a little sad myself when Sofie lost her baby, I was looking forward to have cousins close in age at Korskrogen. Well, well, it didn't happen this time.
But even more sad was when Livia was messing around in the jacuzzi while her son was screaming, all smelly, in his crib.

Return of the miscarriages!
As for gravestones: For some reason the sims think the person has died again, unless the gravestones are moved within a day or two (not exactly sure how long) after their passing. I consider this a bug, and would not hesitate to boolprop it. But I always move the stones the same day anyway. Of course you could not do that when you did not have the parish church until now.

Ghosts can be interesting to have on the lot, but these two were getting just too annoying.

Sometimes when I have kids with a father who does not live with them, they never end up meeting the dad. I'm pretty bad about that.
Poor Sofie. I feel so bad about all of the miscarriages in this hood. =(

I can comfort you with the fact that the miscarriage rate has gone down as the hood has matured.
I'm bad with letting the kids meet their parents from other lots too :/
Max is still to this day working on his relationship to Ricky (wow, he has been around for a long time!)
