Revolution ahead

« previous entry | next entry »

Just before the one year anniversary of Mattsmyra, the society is looking forward to a revolution.

They are moving to a new computer, and will have all the opportunities we've only seen in other neighbourhoods - fishing, gardening, pottery, dancing, hobby lots - in addition to the University and IKEA lots that will now also be available to my ISBI family and Rights of Women challenge

Some of the rediculously clear images that my new graphics card produce - just look at the equalizer bars on the stereo, the shadows around the potted plant or the reflections in the pool water

See you soon!

Oh yay! I can relate, when I got a new computer, I was amazed at all the details I had been missing, it was like a whole new game to play!

It loads fast and make terrific pictures, and I don't smell the processor burning anymore.
I WOULD have liked an even stronger processor, but would have had to put up three times more money in that case.

I got cheap. Maybe I'll continue to regret it, but in that case I can buy another processor for it.
Anyway - now I can invite 8 people for parties instead of 2, and the game doesn't lag when I put in furniture, or it starts raining or snowing :)

This means a lot of changes for Mattsmyra, you'll see! Sweden with snow!

LOL I love your excitement! It's contagious. Now I want to go turn my game on! And bigger parties are always much more fun, no doubt there. :)

Congrats to the residents of Mattsmyra and congrats to you on your new toy! Maybe I'll get caught up one of these days so I can view the beautiful new pictures.

I'm especially happy with the shadows, that I now can use without the computer failing on me!

Way to go! I'm so happy for you - it is literally like playing a new game again, so no wonder you're excited. I can't wait to see the differences it makes to your updates. And Sweden with snow! Where will it end ;)

I'm trying it out now in Birka, I haven't dared to touch Mattsmyra just yet...
