Previously at Norrbo, Åsa changed her legal career to become a Journalist and served Grilled Cheese. Frida spent her mother's salary on dates and started checking off woohoos.

Norrbo year 97-98, 99-100, Saturday-Sunday, Monday-Tuesday
Åsa Benett, 51, Grilled Cheese/Knowledge, Eat 200 GC
Frida Benett, 17, Romance, Woohoo 20 sims

Since we start on a Saturday, we find Frida downtown to buy herself a cell phone and to meet some people.

She meets Niklas Berg, 3-bolter, and immediately asks him on a date.

It’s a date kept on teen level, and then Frida goes home

There she hangs out with her cousin Birgit Hartwig, who she wants to be friends with.

At nightfall, Åsa comes home with a friend, promoted to Investigatory Journalist

Åsa is daughter out-of-wedlock to Maja Benett and Daniel Johansson. Frida’s father is Gunnar Flyckt, who is still in Uni writing his doctor thesis and does reasearch

Åsa has adoptive brother Max, half-sisters Stina and Elisabet, and half-brother Gustav

It’s a pretty small Family Sunday, with quite a number of small cousins

Frida is not so old either, but likes to play with them – or rather annoy them J

She also entertains the guests with her mad guitar skills. Aunt Elisabet cannot stop dancing

Cousin Jonathan uses Family Sunday to become best friends with his father

Åsa gets fired from her precious Journalist job due to a bad chance card

And then it’s time for Frida to pick up her scolarships for grades, charisma, art and dance and head off to Uni where she’s in full swing seducing everybody as we already know.

7776 GC

Finding herself all alone in the little house, Åsa invites her cousin Caroline over for a Grilled Cheese meal

7777 Asp

All the Grilled Cheese eaten and served makes Åsa very happy and she fills her aspiration panel

7778 Elder

Next night, her sister-in-law Lena is invited and Åsa grows up very well to elder

7779 gunnar

Gunnar grows up too, and gets a nice birthday present from Åsa

7780 GC

And from now on, she’ll be only focusing on eating Grilled cheese!

Nice to see a family Sunday that doesn't end with everyone slapping each other ;) I'm curious how aging up Gunnar with Asa has affected his status if he was still a Uni student. Have you been able to tell?

I have no idea what happens with Gunnar, really - Before when aging up dormies - sometimes they show that they have education and sometimes not. We'll see if he moves in when Frida is back. Don't want him to live forever now when he's part of the gene pool :)

Don't want future students to accidentally woohoo with their great-grandfather? I believe they lose track around that time. Do you even have enough generations left for that to happen?

Probably not - we lost our first generation 5 at Runemo, so it's just a question of time when we get the next chance!

Even if you're mostly focused on the game and the challenge, you actually put quite a bit of thought into the backstories of the sims, like Gunnar writing on his thesis, and I really liked the Markövertag/Burlin connection you fabricated. Poor Gunnar though, he never got to be a "real" adult as he went directly from YA to elder, but with him being linked into the family tree it would feel ridiculous to have him stay a YA forever. I would move him in with Åsa, in order to make him pass away eventually as well.

I think that he will have to move in with the family. I have waited for Åsa to wish for it, but it never happened. I did the same with Ricky Cormier, Max Johansson's biological father

I do like that they put in the ability to age sims up when they are friends....it keeps them moving through life a bit without feeling like they have to be played. If only they would just sort of die off eventually too. Probably a good idea to move them in.

Sometimes I think I should start a retirement home for old townies that I'm sick of seeing around, but haven't come around to it yet :)
