Rävkullen year 101-104 - Generation 3 Wedding

Previously at Rävkullen we had two elders earning loads of points and making loads of friends.

Rävkullen year 101-104, Sunday to Wednesday
Max Benett, 66, Fortune/Grilled Cheese, 2nd LTW Eat 200 Grilled Cheese
Lena Benett, 63, Popularity/Knowledge, 2nd LTW 20 Pet best friends
Stina Benett, 23, Family, LTW Education Minister

Stina, our Family girl, is back from Uni, graduated MCL in Philosophy. While there she also maxed her Arts&Crafts Enthusiasm and now wishes to sell a Master Piece. She also wants to start a career in Architecture or Law Enforcement, and of course get married and have a baby.

The first job available is however as a Substitute Teacher. That is in line with Stina’s LTW, so she accepts it.

Then she spends the rest of the night painting.

Then she invites her college love Gert Nyman

They apparently missed each other!

It’s time for Family Sunday and we start with Max tree. It’s really more complicated than this, but this time we’ll concentrate on his adoptive family. He was adopted by Maja Benett when he was about 7 years old. She has also daughter Åsa, married to Gunnar Flyckt, Elisabet married to Marcus Montell and son Gustav Hartwig, married to Lena Berg.
Max and Lena (Ceder) have daughters Emmy married to Olle Burlin, and Stina who lives here. Emmy has a daughter in turn, Birgitta, the black baby if you remember.

Lena is the second daughter of Maria (Berg) Ceder and Orlando Ceder. Her sister Sophie is married to Martin Montell and her sister Agned is married to Georg Mattsson.

The garden at Rävkullen is very small, but there’s still room for a buffet table and a smustle.

But Stina prefers to stay away from the crowd and do some painting

Otherwise, Stina’s wishes revolve around Gert. They are only onebolters, but apparently it’s enough. She's only generation 3, so I would really prefer if she stayed single, but it would be cruel to force a Family sim to do that.

Stina: ”It would be great if you stayed the night!”

”It would be even better if you stayed every night!”
“OK”
Gert moves in with a meager 1.313§. Still 1p. And another generation 3 sim...

”In fact, I would like to marry you!”
“YES!”

So, the 28th of November 102, Gert and Stina get engaged.

But before the wedding, Stina goes to work and gets promoted to Elementary School Teacher

And Gert becomes a Paramedic.

Then it’s time for the wedding. Since it is nighttime and in the middle of the winter, the arc is installed indors.
However, there’s something wrong with this house, something invisible on the floor, so the arc is not accessible for the bride and groom..

They get married properly anyway, the 14th of December year 103.

Immediately after the ceremony, Gert jumps into his workwear and heads off to the hospital
Stina: “Sigh, why did I marry a Fortune sim?”

The party progresses fine even without the groom

And here he comes – promoted to Nurse

And as a last note, we can confirm that another generation 4 baby is on its way. Sigh...

Inhabitants at Rävkullen after round 27:
Max Benett
Lena Benett
Stina (Benett) Nyman
Gert Nyman

Well, she got her wishes, even if you didn't get yours. ^_^

Well, that's the way it is when you let your little ones have free will :)

I hear you about not wanting more kids in some families. Definitely how I'm feeling with some of mine. Will they be subject to the new 1 kid per family rule at least?

I haven't decided about that, since Berit is a Family sim. It seems cruel to not let her have the ones she can have, but we'll see

Oh, those family sims and their babies. :) Since you use ACR and InTeen do you typically let the "random chance" portion take its course and only "try" if there is a need? I can't remember how you play anymore.

The "try" option is hidden in my selections, but can be overridden by doing it from the "casual" menu. Can't remember now what I did in this case

Oh, that's right, they do hide it. It's been awhile since I played in the Fellowship One hood enough to remember all the things with ACR and InTeen.
