SM Apartment year 101-104 - Silent Treatment

« previous entry | next entry »

Previously at the Mossberg residence, Robert was born and grew up to toddler. Sixten found a job and went shopping. Sara acquired a secondary aspiration of Grilled Cheese.

SM Apartment year 101-104, Monday to Thursday
Sara Mossberg, 30, Knowledge/Grilled Cheese, LTW Education Minister
Sixten Mossberg, 30, Pleasure, LTW Professional Partyguest
Robert Mossberg, 3

Robert is an intelligent little boy and quickly learns to talk with the help of his father.

His mother Sara has an LTW of becoming Education Minister and accepts a job as a Teacher’s Aid

Sixten gets promoted to Web Designer

And Sara becomes a Substitute Teacher.

It’s Robert’s birthday and Sixten invited the notorious neighbour Annika Lind to a dance. Sara is not pleased.

Not at all actually. Her mood makes all the guests leave

And we end up with a disastrous family party with Sixten at an awkward distance

Nevertheless Robert grows up well

But maybe with some rebellious traits…

Most of the time he’s a good boy though, doing the dishes and spend time learning mechanics.

Sara becomes an Elementary School Teacher

With that she fills her aspiration panel. 3p!

Robert tries to make some friends and greets Birgitta Rodiek when she passes by.

Sara helps him with his homework, being a teacher herself.

The days are passing by, but Sara is still very angry with Sixten. She ignores him totally and only spends time with Robert.

Sixten is however ready to make amends

Sixten: ”I’m sorry Sara, it will never happen again!” The SimGodess doubts that, since he’s got three bolts with Annika.

At least life returns to normal after the apology, and Sara becomes promoted to High School Teacher.

And as a last note, Robert tries to play with Jack Ljunggren, but they really don’t get along so well.

Hm, three bolts with Annika and Pleasure as Aspiration - no, it doesn't seem very likely that this was the last time Sixten strayed.

I had no idea that children could use the bubble blower. I seldom use that item in my game becuase the sims tend to get stuck there a little too much and then they don't want do very much else. As in RL i suppose. ;)

I usually let Pleasure sims have the blower, and I think it's kind of fun that kids can use it, especially when considering what it could represent :)

That was a rather severe reaction though, it is not like they woohooed in her bed or anything. If people were frozen out for a single dance, there would be many broken homes in Sweden!

Sara seems to be the jealous type - maybe she saw him grab Annika's but or something? :)

Good for Sara for not forgiving him too quickly. Though I do agree with itlandm_sims that her jealousy seemed a bit extreme since they were merely dancing together, not even kissing or anything worse. Hopefully little Robert will be albe to find some friends eventually.

I think it was a slow dance, so probably not totally ok at a kids party, at least not according to jealous Sara :)

Wow, Sarah reacted REALLY badly to the dance. She certainly does seem to be the jealous type. Hopefully, the horrible party won't affect Robert much as she grows up. He's a good-looking little boy.

Sim kids are luckily not getting harmed long term from their stormy childhood. That could be a challenge for the programmers to deal with :)
