Engla keeps in touch with Hugo Mattsson, her intended.
She asked him to come over after school and he asked to bring a friend. It turns out to be the Science Lady. He’s a real hard-core Knowledge sim, it seems!
The get-together is kept innocent. Just look at Engla’s wide-eyed admiration of Hugo – I really hope this will be a good match for life!
In the morning hours before school the next day, Engla is teaching her little sister Elin how to walk. It’s her third toddler skill. She talks and goes potty already!
It feels like this toddler will never be a child. She knows all her toddler skills already, but of course she’s got a lot of skill points to work on still, so that’s what we do now. The house has a strange layout, with a lot of small nooks and angles, so it’s hard to get good pictures.
Saturday Tessa and Engla enjoy a brunch of omelettes together, having some mother-daughter time.
Then the sisters are spending some time together. Elin has a really interesting shape to her face, it will be fun to see what she’ll look like when she’s older.
And at last it’s Elin’s birthday.
Elin: “Pappa, what are you doing? You look funny!”
And then she runs off to bed.
Straight out of bed Sunday morning the dancing starts. Elin is very nice and interacts nicely with everyone.
Later, the Sandvall’s are invited to spend the day with the Tång-Ramirez family. Märta plays chess with Elin, but doesn’t have as many nice points. She’s cheating!
She doesn’t notice what Märta did. But on the other side, I think it looks like Märta moved her peasant two steps forward, and she’s white, so it a perfectly legal move.
In the evening another guest arrives. It’s the Grim Reaper who has come to claim Mrs Lisa Ramirez to the everafter at an age of 68. She has been mostly ignored by j68, and therefor doesn’t die in platinum.
On the 16th of December ’63, Lisa Ramirez draws her last breath. She leaves behind her husband Checo, her daughter Tessa with husband Elmer, grand-daughter Engla, 17, and step-grand-daughter Elin, 5.
Checo takes the news very hard. He has to hire professional help to get through it. –1p
He does get good money from the insurance though.
